The moment has arrived! After a rich season of planning, the Trinity Cathedral Centennial celebration is about to begin. Such occasions give us time to reflect on our past, take note of our present accomplishments, and look with anticipation to a bright future.
In the early 1900s the members of the original Trinity Church, which was located near the present-day Maricopa County Courthouse, had a vision of a city that far surpassed any border or boundary they could imagine. They saw the City of Phoenix as a place of vast opportunity. In their hopes for a bright tomorrow, the church community built our beautiful Trinity Cathedral campus here at 100 West Roosevelt St.
Our Cathedral Centennial offers us a year of celebration, exploration, and wonder. We will celebrate Christ’s presence among us as the community continues to reflect on all that has been done. We will explore the potential to enhance our spiritual gifts and talents for the Phoenix of tomorrow. We will stand in awe and wonder at the goodness of God, and marvel at Trinity Cathedral, a place that is truly God’s creation — a place of refuge and hope for our world. Most notably, this is the place we call home!
Join us as we embark on this festive year. Christ has blessed us. Let us celebrate our blessings!
In Christ’s peace,
