DEAN SEARCH
Trinity Cathedral is in the process of discerning who we are and what we are looking for as we engage in the search for our next dean.
Leading this process is the Search Committee, a group assembled by the Chapter via nominations from the congregation. Search Committee members are a cross-section of the congregation demonstrating a commitment to the congregation through involvement, service, giving, and leadership.
The task of the Search Committee is to comprehend and articulate the values, charisms, hopes, and challenges of our congregation. This will result in a Parish Profile to be used as the primary recruitment tool for applicants to the position of Dean.
The Search Committee works independent of the Chapter and provides the Senior Warden occasional updates to provide to the Chapter & Congregation.
The Search Committee comprises 12 parishioners who meet regularly throughout this process: Chris Bates (chair), Paula Aguayo, Carmen Arocho-Vera, Diane Becket, Manny Burruel, Eve Hartman, John Larson, Connie Lewis, Elsie Szecsy, Jennifer Sprague, Robert Spring, and Karl Wicker.
Presently, the Search Committee is reviewing the responses to the community-wide survey and using it to inform the creation of our parish profile.
As the committee continues its work, we invite all to join in this prayer for vision, faith and God’s presence in all that they will do.
Here is a look back at what progress we have already made:
