The Parish Profile advertising the position of Dean of Trinity Cathedral, Phoenix is LIVE! We are so grateful to the Search Committee and Chapter for their incredible work and diligence in its creation. Now, we offer prayers for those who might discern their place amongst us. Applications will be accepted through the end of January 2026.

Timeline to Date

September 2025: the Parish Profile has been submitted to the Bishop’s Office for approval and we are completing the questionnaire from the Office of Transition Ministries.

Summer 2025: the Parish Profile is being developed.

May 2025 – A survey from the Search Committee is sent to the congregation to guide them in assembling our parish profile, a document viewed by prospective dean candidates to learn more about us.

November 2024 – Search Committee members announced to the congregation and blessed during Sunday worship.

March 2, 2024 – Canon Anita Braden leads Trinity parishioners through a Day of Discernment to start the dean search process.

January 21, 2024 – Dean Troy Mendez’s final Sunday service.
