Benevolence Fund
Trinity Cathedral’s Benevolence Fund was established in the spring of 2020 to assist any parishioner with temporary financial support.
Grantees have been helped with funds for food, rent, utilities, health care, transportation and burial expenses. There is an application process and Dean Mendez leads a small group who confidentially considers each request from this restricted fund.

Qualifying for Support
If you are regularly affiliated with worship, fellowship, or service at Trinity Cathedral you are a vital member of our community. We know these are difficult times and we encourage you to apply for financial support by completing the application below.
The names of applicants are confidential and known only by the fund’s oversight committee.
Fund Committee
The review of all applications and all decisions on amounts to be given are made by The Benevolence Fund Oversight Committee. The Fund Committee consists of the Dean, the Senior Warden, the Treasurer, a former Treasurer, and a former Senior Warden. The Fund Committee reviews the applications, asks follow-up questions as needed and determines payment within one week of receiving completed applications. Checks are mailed directly to the recipient.
