Welcome
January 2022
Dear Friends,
Welcome to Trinity Cathedral’s Centennial celebration! As our program year continues in 2022, our schedule of events offer an abundant array of opportunities for worship, fellowship, and service.
The programs for 2022 continue the excitement of the last fours months. Several former leaders of Trinity will return and offer their gifts of preaching and teaching. Music will fill our Cathedral with carefully selected programming from world-renowned artists. We expand upon all of Trinity’s celebrations, and we’ll celebrate with occasions of fellowship and fun.
As the Centennial year progresses, the people of Trinity will explore our roots in the community. We will highlight the moments where Trinity has blessed the city of Phoenix through our life and ministry, and we will dream together about the places we will be called to go in the next 100 years. God has a dream for Trinity Cathedral, and we are a part of living into God’s dream!
We will explore the potential to enhance our spiritual gifts and talents for the Phoenix of tomorrow. We will stand in awe and wonder at the goodness of God, and marvel at Trinity Cathedral, a place that is truly God’s creation — a place of refuge and hope for our world. Most notably, this is the place we call home!
Join us as this festive year of celebration continues. Christ has blessed us. Let us celebrate our blessings!
In Christ’s peace,
Troy
September 2021
Dear Friends,
The moment has arrived! After a rich season of planning, the Trinity Cathedral Centennial celebration is about to begin. Such occasions give us time to reflect on our past, take note of our present accomplishments, and look with anticipation to a bright future.
In the early 1900s the members of the original Trinity Church, which was located near the present-day Maricopa County Courthouse, had a vision of a city that far surpassed any border or boundary they could imagine. They saw the City of Phoenix as a place of vast opportunity. In their hopes for a bright tomorrow, the church community built our beautiful Trinity Cathedral campus here at 100 West Roosevelt St.
Our Cathedral Centennial offers us a year of celebration, exploration, and wonder. We will celebrate Christ’s presence among us as the community continues to reflect on all that has been done.
Join us as we embark on this festive year. Christ has blessed us. Let us celebrate our blessings!
In Christ’s peace,
Troy
