Marriage is one of the great gifts of love that we celebrate as a sacrament in the Church. While a wedding is one day, it is beginning of the far more important chapter of marriage itself. To be married at Trinity Cathedral by one of the Cathedral clergy, one of the persons in the couple must be a baptized Christian. The couple must take part in pre-marital counseling either with the clergy performing the ceremony, or with a licensed therapist.

Trinity Cathedral and the Episcopal Church will conduct marriages of those who have been divorced before. This carries with it the requirement that the pre-marital counseling has been concluded at least 60 days out from the wedding day itself, as the Bishop must approve of the re-marriage. You can work with the clergy conducting your ceremony to schedule this all appropriately.

Trinity Cathedral is also happy to conduct the marriages of same-sex couples. We wholeheartedly embrace lifelong commitments made by two consenting adults.

The cost of hosting a wedding at Trinity Cathedral ranges from $2,500 – $4,000 which includes clergy, organist, flowers, bulletins, custodial, dressing rooms, the church itself and more.
