This special service is the first Easter feast…after we emerge from the tomb. We will light the new fire, recall the history that led us to this point, remember God’s mercy, and then emerge together from the tomb mid-service. The service begins in darkness with candles, and when we transition into the light, we will ring bells (a traditional Easter celebratory practice – be sure to bring one from home!) and sing aloud for Christ has been raised from the dead!
