October’s featured artists are Jim Bochenek & Cyd Peroni.

Jim Bochenek and Cyd Peroni provide two unique approaches to photography in the exhibit “Exploration”

Bochenek uses a Nikon digital camera to capture a wide variety of genres and subject matter while traveling, hiking, and exploring. He has a keen eye for composition and enjoys elevating his work via creative and innovative editing. He states, “I have A Beautiful Habit and it’s Photography!” Bochenek is a lifelong resident of Arizona; his work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the state.

Peroni’s photographs of liquid structures are abstract compositions created through the manipulation of watercolors, photo toners, and ferric fluid with magnets. Peroni’s series, Even the Poles Move, explores the emotional and spiritual reactions to change through the physics of magnetism. “A reflection of the continuum of possible responses to our changing social, environmental, and political climates.” Peroni has exhibited her work throughout the country.

Also:               Kalleigh Gibson will be singing and playing guitar in the courtyard,                         performing a mix of Pop and Americana music.
