Good Friday
Good Friday is the traditional honoring day of the Passion (death narrative) of Jesus Christ. We will pray together, hear the story of the Passion from John’s Gospel (the most comprehensive narrative in Scripture), venerate the cross – all at noon.Â
The other traditional observance on this day is the Stations of the Cross which observes the narrative in a different way. The Stations will be offered from 6pm – 9pm in our Sanctuary. Leaders can take you through them or it can be self-guided, as you wish. If driving in for this, please plan to drive in from the WEST only – as it is a First Friday, and Roosevelt will be closed.
