A Statement Regarding the Cathedral Organ Repair Campaign
June 2019
Following months of preparation and planning, Trinity Cathedral’s Organ Repair Campaign launched at the beginning of May. Our efforts were intended to be broad and multi-faceted: public appeals, benefit concerts, grant writing, and an evening of food and entertainment comprised our fundraising activities. The campaign has now come to an end and I am thrilled to report that we have successfully met our goal of $55,000. In fact (although all the figures are not yet tallied), we have surpassed that mark!
I am humbled by the outpouring of support from the Phoenix community and the critical gifts of all amounts that made this campaign such an amazing success. There is a myriad of people to thank, most of all you who are reading this statement. Without the commitment and generosity of such a diverse cross-section of our community, this campaign would not have been possible. On behalf of Trinity Cathedral and the Phoenix musical community, I want to extend my personal thanks to each of you for your support of our campaign. We simply could not have done it without you.
A Blessing and Rededication of the cathedral organ is scheduled for February of next year. Much more information will be available in due course, but I hope that you will plan to attend at least one of our events celebrating the restoration of the cathedral organ. Thank you all so very much for your support.
